DekoRati, Founder & Principal

Born and raised in India, a country of rich culture and heritage,  Rati frequently draws inspiration from it and feel confident using colors and textures in her Interiors. After having a career in IT , when she moved to US, she decided to pursue her passion for Interiors and completed the UC Interior Design program. After working for some of the top names in East Bay Design industry she decided to become an Entrepreneur and launched DekoRati Interiors. She always enjoy meeting new people and making new associations… and Design gives her the opportunity to do the same. 

When it comes to design she love to work in a variety of styles and a range of aesthetics. She believe in integrating natural forms with modern simplicity, resulting in exceptionally classic and inviting interiors. Her key elements of design is to unify a warm color palette, rich textures and a simplified space plan. The goal is to make interiors that are inviting, comfortable and functional.

She live in Soli wine city, California with her husband and kids ages 15 and 18. She loves spending time with her family and friends. When she is not designing she loves to travel , cook and meditate. It helps her connect to her innermost self.

Established in 2015, DekoRati Interiors is an award-winning full-service Luxury interior design studio, specializing in creating signature spaces that are as distinctive as our clients. Our expertise in custom details has drawn the design world’s attention, with features in shelter magazines and media publications.

Our Projects range from ground-up construction to remodels and interior furnishings.  Every project starts with a concept and results in a collaboration with clients to create their authentic style that describes their unique storyline. Respecting our client’s function, budget and practicality is always a top priority. We always strive to perform at the highest standard of honesty and integrity. At DRI we aspires to create classic, sophisticated and bold interiors that speak to our clients.

“We must delve deep into the home’s architecture, scale and style in order to create designs that speak to those elements,” she explains. The lifestyle of the homeowners, their personalities and how they use the space are layered into that knowledge. “The design is never about what we want to do,” she emphasizes, “it’s about putting designs together in such a way that we are giving the homeowner the best of what they love.
